Horse Dance Workshop (Aug. 2024) – Canneci Tinné Apache Tribe

All Tribal Members are invited to the Łi izhoc (Horse Dance) Workshop, Sat. Aug. 10th from 10 am – 4 pm.

This Workshop is to help those who are going to dance, to create their Horse Regalia. The Canneci were the earliest Horsemen in Louisiana, before encountering the French! They were then used to herd the Planter elites’ cow herds on Trailrides. The Horse is a revered animal in the Canneci Culture. Those Tribal people who are not making their Regalia can also attend.

Breakfast, lunch & all supplies are included (no charge)
