Canneci Warrior Cap Workshop

** This is a workshop for Tribal Citizens only

Sat. 13 April at 10am we gather to create an important piece of our regalia. The Warrior Cap is traditionally worn by Apache Warriors and, more recently, Veterans. Although this is a workshop where participants will acquire new skills, it holds significant cultural importance. It also serves as a vital opportunity to strengthen our community!

Funded with support from The Louisiana Folklore Society, The National Endowment For The Arts, The Louisiana Division Of The Arts, and The Department Of Culture Recreation & Tourism.

Our thanks to the Bayou Culture Collaborative of the Louisiana Folklore Society which supports important cultural works. Nax cuk for recognizing the tribe!

The Bayou Culture Collaborative, an initiative of the Louisiana Folklore Society, is organized through the South Louisiana Wetlands Discovery Center to accelerate environmental adaptation through culture and the arts.
